The mission of the City Internal Audit Office is to provide independent, objective assurance and consultative services designed to add value while balancing risk versus return and improve the City of El Paso's operations by evaluating the adequacy of financial, managerial, administrative, information technology and performance controls. The City Internal Audit Office is an integral part of the City of El Paso internal accounting and administrative control system and functions under the City Internal Audit Charter established by management.
